For social media# The government informed that there are 53 crore WhatsApp, 41 crore Facebook, 21 crore Instagram and 1.75 crore Twitter users in India. In such a situation, some important rules and regulations should be made for these platforms.

If a woman complains about any content that hurts her dignity, then she has to be removed in 24 hours. For example, private parts, intimate photos or fake accounts etc. Such a complaint can be made by the user or anyone else on his behalf.
# The government has made two categories of social media. First social media intermediate and second social media intermediary. The only difference in these is that the big platforms will be kept in the significant social media intermediary, and the smaller ones in the ordinary. According to the category of the government, the number of users will also be told soon. However, it can be assumed that the government will keep Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and WhatsApp in the signature social media intermediate category history of hindusim.

# User has to give information on any Compliance within 24 hours. Within 15 days, the user will have to take action on that complaint and tell it.
# Every month social media companies have to submit a grievance report. In this, they will tell how and how many complaints came to them in a month, and what action was taken on them.

# A special voluntary user verification mechanism has to be created. Meaning if a user wants to get his social media account verified by his desire, then he will be given a chance. After verification, a special mark should also be given to that user. The responsibility of how this verification will be done has been put on social media itself.
# If a social media company removes a user’s content on its own, then that user should also be given a chance to speak. Before removing the content, the user has to tell why his content is being removed.
# If the court or government agency refuses to host or publish any information to any social media platform, then it will have to accept it. This information may include information that threatens the unity and integrity of the country, disrupts the law and order, deteriorates relations with friendly countries.
# Social media platform will have to inform the government of the first originator of a post or content. Meaning the government can ask from any social media platform who put the message or content first. If the foreigner had been cast from the earth, then you have to tell who spread it in the country. However, the government will be able to ask for this information in similar cases in which there is a provision of punishment of up to 5 years. The government is describing this as a step taken to prevent incidents like mob lynching against the integrity of the country and social media.
